STYLE
1. Natural Light
No flash, no artificial light. Turn off all lights in the property.
2. Show Outside and Use Bracketing
Shoot through open doors and windows. Use bracketing with 3 photos 2 stops apart.
3. Host Portrait
Shoot headshots of the host, no need to use props.
COVERAGE
Shoot List
This is general guideline for list of shots. You can still shoot vertical on tight spaces.
Only photograph areas accessible to guests.
Sample Shots
2-3 straight-on horizontals.
2 angled horizontals.
1-2 verticals.
COMPOSITION
1. Tripod Height and Direction
Tripod height between 1m - 1,25m.
Straight and parallel to the ground, do not tilt the camera.
2. Straight-on Horizontal
Shoot in Wes Anderson style: Straight, symmetrical, wide.
3. Tight Spaces
Can be shot wide horizontal and vertical. Prioritize floors.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Equipment
Full frame camera
16-24mm lens (for property)
50-80mm lens (for portraits)
Tripod

Do not use flash and lens wider than 16mm.
Settings
Clean camera sensor and lenses
Shoot only in RAW
ISO range 100-800
Avoid shutter speed slower than 2 seconds
Bracket 3 exposures, 2 stops apart
Bracketing
If the light is very contrast between indoor and outdoor, shoot 3 different exposures to be merged. Set exposure compensation to +1.
